א 43-יעריגער מאן, פריער אין גוט געזונט, איז געשיקט געווארן אין דער דרמטאָלאָגישער אָפּטיילונג, ווייל זיינע פינגגערניגל זענען שוין א יאָר אינפֿעקטירט געווארן מיט אַ פונגוס (fungus). אפילו נאָך גענומען אַנטי‑פונגאַל פּילז (antifungal pills) (terbinafine 250 mg), זיין צושטאַנד (condition) האט נישט פֿאַרבעסערט. בזמן דער טשעק‑אויף, די דאָקטערס האָבן געפֿונען קליינע חורים (small holes) און צעשיידונג פון די ניילז אין זיבן פון זײַן פינגער. רויטע, סקאַלאַדיקע פלעכעס (red, scaly patches) אין לינקערן אויער, און אַ ביסל דאַנדרף (dandruff) אויף זײַן קאַפּ. עס זענען נישט באמערקט קיין אַנדערע הויט פּראָבלעמען (skin issues).
A 43-year-old man, previously in good health, was sent to the dermatology department because his fingernails had been infected with a fungus for a year. Even after taking antifungal pills (terbinafine 250 mg), his condition didn't improve. During the check-up, the doctors found small holes and separation of the nails in seven of his fingers. He also had some red, scaly patches in his left ear and a bit of dandruff on his scalp, which made his head itch slightly. There weren't any other skin issues noticed.
