광선 과민성 피부염 (Photosensitive dermatitis)은 일광 중독 또는 광알레르기라고도 하며, 알레르기성 접촉 피부염의 한 형태입니다. 햇볕에 타는 것과는 다릅니다. 휴가 중 갑자기 손발에 가려운 발진이 나타난다면 광선 과민성 피부염을 의심해 볼 수 있습니다.
광선 과민성 피부염 (photosensitive dermatitis)은 부기, 호흡 곤란, 작열감, 때로는 작은 물집과 유사한 붉은 가려움성 발진, 피부 벗겨짐 등을 유발할 수 있습니다. 또한 가려움이 오래 지속되는 반점이 나타날 수도 있습니다.

EPP (Erythropoietic protoporphyria)의 급성 광과민성 반응; 햇빛에 의한 피부염은 대개 손등쪽과 팔의 노출된 부위에 발생합니다. 접촉성 피부염과 달리 대칭적인 위치와 작은 만져지는 병변이 특징입니다.

Photosensitivity refers to various symptoms, diseases, and conditions (photodermatoses) caused or exacerbated by exposure to sunlight. It is classified into five categories: primary photodermatosis, exogenous photodermatosis, photo-exacerbated dermatoses, metabolic photodermatosis, and genetic photodermatosis.
